TOP Ranch Riding is a weeklong sleep-away camp experience, available only to girls, with exceptional horseback riding instruction including: introduction to jumping, grooming and a final horse show competition.
In addition to over 2 hours of riding every day, TOP Ranch campers have the opportunity to partake in a number of traditional camp activities. Campers can choose from and receive instruction in a number of different activities, including: athletics, gymnastics, climbing, dance, swimming, archery, nature, arts & crafts, cooking, and more!
TOP Ranch campers live with counselors in cabins with running water, showers, beds and electricity, as well as eat all meals in the camp dining hall.
TOP Ranch Riding Camp is led by Devan Blazey, who has been riding since she was 9-years-old. Her lifelong passion for horses began when she attended a riding camp. Since then, the majority of her experience has been in Hunters and Jumpers (English), though she has worked for programs in various disciplines.
Over the past few years, Devan has ridden, worked, and volunteered at show stables, therapeutic riding programs, and an adoption center for off-track thoroughbreds. She loves teaching and sharing the many wonderful benefits of horseback riding with students. Her goal is to create a fun, safe experience where campers can gain confidence and improve their skills both on and off the horse!
